The Cut: Episode #3
The Adventures of Cucumber Man. When is he going to get a real job?
Hi Mum, yeh, I made the cut. I’ve got a real job and I even get my own computer!
Cut, cut, cut.
Paste, paste, paste.
Don’t let all this digital garbage go to waste.
Cut the string
Cut the chord
The Mother of Invention comes at the moment you get bored.
Cut the crap
Take a nap
Find somewhere that Google hasn’t put on the map.
I’m alone right now
But that is fine
You need to be comfortable spending time in your own mind.
Copy, copy, copy
Makes your life sloppy
Cut, paste and copy
Off that old floppy
Save as this, save as that
Where’s it at?
That’s a question I’ll have to ask, of my cat.
100 Words. No more, no less. Except for the bit where he’s chatting to his mum on the phone.
Author’s Note
Now that the Cucumber Man story has gone audiovisual a rather nasty individual called Mr Continuity has entered the room. Thus, the addition of the phone call to mum to create a sense of how we get from Episode #2 to Episode #3.
I’ve created a playlist on Youtube where you can view all the released episodes from start to finish. A great way to catch up if you’re new here!
Is this the most exciting televisual experience to come out of Australia since the axing of Arcade on 29th February 1980 after barely a month on air? You bet it is!†

Enough of the paid shilling by an unnamed Deluded Custodian. They charge by the word, you know. Bring on the bloopers!

AI is on my computer...so is it still mine?
These episodes keep better and better.
I'm loving the mixed media!
Some might not get the Deluded Custodian reference, so I'll help clear it up.
I identify as a Deluded Custodian. If asked to make pickles, my kitchen would look similar to the blooper - a room full of cucumber slices. Creative energy > kinetic.
